How Does LeGassick Cash Work?
LeGassick Cash are tickets your child receives $10 tickets every Monday (pay day). They can earn tickets described below and loose tickets also described below. They are to show responsibility by keeping up with their tickets the entire 9 weeks. On the last day of the 9 weeks they can opt to shop or continue to save and buy something at the LeGassick Store.
WOWING the teacher
As you know I have high expectations in my classroom, both academically and behaviorally. On that same note, our campus has high expectations of the entire student body, as well. However, there are those students who go above and beyond in those areas and when that happens, I feel that they deserve acknowledgement. They are, again, putting out that extra effort. Each time I am "WOW"ed, I want to reinforce that behavior by writing a Pink Slip, giving them a Compliment Card, and/or handing out tickets. This amount is dependent upon the situation. Also on birthdays they will receive 10 tickets

Why does your child want to earn these tickets?
There are several reasons your child wants to earn tickets:
- It is also a great life skill in responsibility and money management.
- They are working their way into the End of the 9 Weeks Shopping Event.
- The tickets they earn all 9 weeks can also be used to buy items such as folders, pencils, or spirals, they may also buy free homework passes (for my class only) and/or lunch with friends passes.
Why does your child loose their money?
- No homework will cost 5 tickets, and they will have to complete it at another time during that day (lunch/recess).
- If they are off task, disruptive, or disrespectful it will cost them 3 tickets.
- If they have lost all their tickets for some reason, they will then have a silent lunch as their consequence.
