Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year:
My name is Deana LeGassick and I am thrilled to be teaching at Steiner Ranch. I live right here in Steiner Ranch with my husband, Tommy, and my two stepsons Dillon and Skyler. We also have two furry family members - Haley and Colby. In my time away from school, I love to read and travel. In the fall we spend our weekends at Longhorn games and the spring is reserved for my Chicago Cubs. I look forward to getting to know my students and their families this year!
Our Class Mission Statement:
We, the 5th graders of Mrs. LeGassick’s class, are here to learn. We will be the role models of the school. We will always be fair, respectful, truthful and responsible. We will treat others the way we want to be treated. We are a class that takes learning seriously. We also know how to have fun when it’s appropriate. This year will be a very special year. We are all committed to this statement and will work hard to accomplish it together so we can have the best school year ever.

- Students are able to redo a quiz/exam to get an 80. The redo must be done within 5 school days after the assignment has been returned.
- Take a look at the Class Schedule page to see the best times to schedule appointments to minimize missed instruction and make-up work.
- Students may come in for help in the mornings at 7:15 Tuesdays and Thursday.
